Welcome to the Village of Stittsville Ontario. A well loved community that lies just southwest of Kanata, and approximately 31 kms from downtown Ottawa.

History of stittsville Ontario

What was once a very small town, now boasts a population of just over 40,000 and growing. The homes in this area range from early 1950s, but development really started to take off in the 80s and 90s, with more and more newer developments being built surrounding the original village today. The area is home to many families, to beautiful natural areas, and to small town businesses and shops alike. I’m currently standing outside of Quitters Coffee, owned and operated by local resident and Canada’s own Juno award winning musician Kathleen Edwards. There’s many reasons why so many people are drawn to this community – and I know you’re just going to love it!
