Glen Cairn Kanata

Another one of Kanata’s original 1960s neighbourhoods – welcome to Glen Cairn! This neighbourhood is located just north of the Trans-Canada Trail, south of Hazeldean Road, west of Eagleson Road, and east of Terry Fox Drive. I’m currently standing outside of what’s considered Kanata’s oldest public high school AY Jackson, and it’s situated right in the heart of this neighbourhood that dates back to 1976.

Glen Cairn Kanata Neighbourhood

Glen Cairn begins with the original homes from the 60s, and has gradually expanded south into newer home developments such as Bridlewood Trails, Trail West, and Kanata South business park. People who live in these neighbourhoods have all the conveniences of a suburb – strip malls, grocery stores, schools, and parks. I can’t wait to show it to you – I know you’re gonna love it!
